A touching Veterans Day tribute is now on display on the field at Gillette Stadium featuring thousands of boots honoring U.S. service members who were killed in the Global War on Terror post-9/11.

This Veterans Day weekend, Gillette Stadium is hosting a special memorial for those who lost their lives in service to their country.

For the first time since it started, the Boots on the Ground for Heroes Memorial had a Veterans Day ceremony and did it out of state, at Gillette Stadium.

The Boots on the Ground for Heroes Memorial has become an iconic tribute to Gold Star families across the Ocean State.

With the New England Patriots playing this weekend in Germany, instead of at home in Foxborough, the field at Gillette Stadium is instead being used for a special Veterans Day tribute.
