Free Coats Offered to Homeless Veterans

OSDRI is working with the Providence VA Medical Center to give away winter clothing to homeless and low-income veterans. Operation Stand Down Rhode Island is holding its annual coat/clothing giveaway for veterans at the the Providence H-PACT Trailer 37 on 830 Chalkstone Avenue in Providence from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022.

Operation Stand Down Rhode Island helps homeless veterans and veterans who are at risk of becoming homeless. OSDRI is giving away coats, gloves, hats, blankets, and toiletries to help keep veterans warm this winter. More than 200 coats were donated for the giveaway.
