FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — The Boots on the Ground for Heroes Memorial will soon travel outside of Rhode Island for the first time. Operation Stand Down Rhode Island will display the memorial on the field at Gillette Stadium this Veterans Day weekend.

PVMS kicks off 10th annual Veterans Day 5k run/walk registration
Registration is now open for the 10th Annual Park View Middle School 5K Run/Walk event being held on November 11, 2023. This long-standing community event takes place at Roger Williams Park with the 5K run/walk beginning at 9:30 am and the 1K Kids Run beginning at 8:30 am.
